Ultimate Rose is a bespoke, hand-built timber alternative sash window designed to effortlessly blend the timeless style of classic sashes with all the benefits of modern performance.

It has been designed from the ground up to match the appearance of traditional Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian hardwood sash windows down to the finest detail. But modern materials and manufacturing techniques mean it keeps your home warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and secure and draught-free all year round.

Ultimate Rose is more cost effective than new softwood sash windows and considerably less expensive than hardwood. But unlike timber, it will never need repainting.

Ultimate Rose is built by Roseview Windows. We were the first company in the UK (and therefore the world) to specialise in manufacturing uPVC sash windows. Starting in 1985, we’ve built up almost 40 years of specialist knowledge and experience, all of which goes into every window we make. Mechanical Joints

Timber windows are built using traditional joinery methods. To make manufacturing easier, uPVC windows are heat welded at 45 degrees. Straight away, you can tell the difference. That’s why Ultimate Rose is built using mechanical joinery-style butt joints, horizontal on the frame and vertical on the sashes — just like timber.

Chamber Filler

Because modern sash windows tilt, a broad groove called the balance chamber runs down the frame, below the sash horns, that the sashes slide in. This isn’t present on timber because timber sashes don’t tilt for cleaning. To remedy this, we designed our new chamber cover. It fills the space and gives a smooth, authentic finish that no other timber alternative sash window can offer.

Slim & Seamless Construction

Building a truly authentic timber alternative sash window is not just what you build in, it’s what you leave out. Most uPVC windows include tell-tale caps, joins and shadow lines that you don’t find on timber. Ultimate Rose is different – we’ve designed out all of those details to give the solid, smooth, slim appearance of timber.

LOW MAINTENANCE DESIGN

In using uPVC for our windows, our designs are not only durable but require little to no maintenance once installed. A unique built in slide and tilt feature allows you to fully clean the exterior window pane from the inside, making them ideal for top floor windows. A simple wipe down is all they will need to remain stunning for many years.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

With energy prices so high, it’s good to know that our sash windows are A-rated as standard. When it’s cold outside, they keep the heat in. But when it’s warm outside they help keep it out, making your home comfortable all year round. They even offer hurricane-level weatherproofing, so no more draughts, drips or rattles.
